The Restaurant is a small family owned suburban restaurant situated in the suburbs of Maroubra. The Restaurant is relatively small in Size. The restaurant is very popular in the local area and surrounding suburbs . The restaurant most famous dish is their oriental style chicken wings with sauce.

During The visit ordered a starter of Chicken Wings
for the starter , Mushu Pork For Main and Fried                                           Photo Courtesy of Google
 ice cream for dessert.

The Starter was very good and lived up to the expectation , it was a oriental twist on traditional chicken wings and was very delicious.

The Main Mushu pork the portion size was big and very filling the pork was very tender and accompany chili sauce was very good.

The Dessert Was a traditional Chinese Restaurant for ice cream the fried ice cream was good.

I rate this restaurant 4/5 stars would recommend the restaurant for its reasonable prices , generous portions sizes and excellent customer services.

Best Burgers In Sydney ??

Bar Luca, Sydney CBD

Review by Andrew Green

Dish: Blame Canada burger and fries
Restaurant name: Bar Luca
Location: 52 Phillip St, Sydney, 2000
Price: $20

Another Blog another Burger. After hearing nothing but positive reviews online i had to see
what all the hype was around Sydney's Bar Luca. Lets just say wow.... i was not disappointed.
I dug my face into a Blame Canada burger, a cheeseburger with added bacon and a special sauce that lived up to its name.
The bun was spongy and wasn't overly sweet. I could not fault this burger, the patty was juicy and thick and the bacon was crisp and broke when i bit into it.
Moving onto the fries and my expectations where once again met. Crisp, thin cut fries and a large serving as well. The atmosphere was class as well, everyone in there was enjoying their meals and the staff always seemed to be buzzing around.

Overall Bar Luca has sky rocketed to my favourite Burger Joint and i am keen to get down there again soon, to indulge in the rest of their menu. Don't just take my word for it though, try it out for yourself and like myself, i'm sure you will not be disappoin
ted. !!!

Mary's Newtown

Mary's Burgers - Newtown

Review by Andrew Green

Dish: Cheeseburger and fries
Restaurant name: Mary's Burgers
Location: 6 Mary street, Newtown, Sydney
Price: $18

As a burger lover i am always finding myself
at Mary's, returning time and time again. They're
simple take on the classics makes them stand out
in the burger community. I have eaten a ridiculous amount of burgers over my years but Mary's holds a special place with me. They use locally sourced  ingredients, and have a sauce to die for, not to mention the southern chicken dipped in their signature mash and gravy. The atmosphere at Mary's is quite unique,
lively and fun staff mixed with indie music creates a hipster type scene which really adds to the Mary's
experience.

If you are yet to try Mary's, get down there this weekend for a great burger and even better atmosphere.

Frankies pizza

Best pizza place in Sydney?

Date Published: 21/09/2016

Cuisine: Italian
Dish: Pizza
Google Rating 4.3/5
Macquarie Food Blog Rating: 5/5

There have been many articles claiming to have the location of the best pizza place in Sydney but the Macquarie Foodies have located the destination you must try to believe. Frankie's pizza located at 50 Hunter St, Sydney NSW 2000 has had phenomenal ratings and reviews in the past years these include "great underground bar with pizzas and quality craft beers to offer" and "always good music, good food and great beer" also with a 4.3/5 Google rating we knew we had to try this place for ourselves.

Firstly we had to try the pepperoni and mozzarella pizza and all we could say was "wow" it really was spectacular. This was followed up by a chicken and mushroom pizza which was just splendid overall it is an amazing place to take the family or have a night out with the friends and is a 5/5 from us here at the Macquarie food blog.

Hainan Chicken Rice- East West Gourmet

Review by Daniel Jang

East West Gourmet restaurant in Mandarin Food Court
Dish: Hainan Chicken Rice
Restaurant Name: East West Gourmet
Location: Mandarin Centre Food Court, Chatswood, Sydney
Cuisine Style: Chinese/Malaysian
Price: $11.00

When it comes to Malaysian cuisine, there is one particular dish that I will always order if I see it on the menu and that is Hainan chicken rice. To say that I have eaten a lot of Hainan chicken rice is a massive understatement so you can believe me when I say that East West Gourmet has the best Hainan chicken rice hands down in all of Sydney.

Hainan chicken, rice, soup and fresh chilli
The meat is extremely tender and succulent and the chicken-broth infused rice is fluffy and flavourful. Hot soup is served with sliced bok choy and compliments the chicken perfectly.

If you haven't tried the Hainan chicken rice at East West gourmet, do yourself a massive favour and go there right now. You can thank me later. =)

Unbelievably succulent and tender chicken

During the visit to the Restaurant order a Half Chicken Plate with pickles bread and sauce the chicken was moist and very nice tasting as well the pickles, chips  and sauce were also very delicious.

Even Though the Restaurant was very busy and service time was slow , chicken and Sides were very Good , would recommend this restaurant
